Utilization of biochar and NPK fertilizer for soybean planting (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) in Ultisol media

This study aimed to obtain the growth and yield of soybean plants on ultisol medium after being treated with biochar NPK fertilizer. The research was carried out in experimental garden Faculty Agriculture, Riau University, from November 2020 February 2021. experimentally a 3 x factorial form, arranged using Completely Randomized Design. Factor I, doses (0, 10, 20 ton.ha -1 were equivalent 0, 100, 200 g per plant). II, (175, 350, 525 kg.ha 1.75; 3.5; 5.25 Of two factors, 9 combinations obtained, each combination repeated times 27 units. Each unit contained 7 polybags observed. Observed parameters; plant height, number primary branches , effective root nodules, rate, pods plant, pithy seeds seed weight plant. results showed that 350 gave good for (number nodules rate) application significantly increased pods, seeds, plant), but administration did not increase soybeans.
